maverick
Hi everyone first post: Got a dealer just 5 minutes away from me who imports and sells a lot of Alphards. Had a look at a couple yesterday and really impressed with them. Just been checking the car road tax sittuation. Although the cars are registered as being 2006/2008 models they will be re-registered in this country when I purchase one. Will I then have to pay £555 road tax for the first year as it will be registered after 2017 or have I got this wrong? Thanks John
Picasso
Hello John first road tax is about £295.
maverick
Thanks for that Picasso. I should have mentioned it's a 2.4 engine. Ironically I'm looking to exchange my Citroen Grand Picasso (B78) for an Alphard. 😄 Do you happen to know the quoted MPG for the 2.4 engines please? Rojie
9.7 km per litre according to my manual.
Rojie
Road tax appears to be based on year manufactured, as noted on the DVLA website, not year imported. I agree with Picasso, mine was about £290.
