We're just looking at buying a 2004 Aplhard, and it has a lap belt only on the centre seat of the middle row, no belt at all in the centre of the rear, and no headrest for either seat (or holes to lot on in!).

We're just wondering if these can be retrofitted with headrests and full three point belts.  Has anyone got any experience of either of those things?

Thanks!

Hello Dr Watson,

Welcome to this Forum.

How many people do you intend to carry at any one time ?

As I understand it, lap belts meet the UK DVLA rules.

So you ought to be able to seat six adults all in three point belts.

If you chose to travel with the middle seats reversed (if they are swivel type) you will lose the three point belts, and have to make do with only lap belts.

Although quite legal, it is not recommended to travel in reverse facing seats.

You may be able to source more suitable seating in this Forum, or on ebay.

There was a set for sale a while ago mid July.

Check in the For Sale section.
