Hi all

I have a 2008 Alphard Hybrid 2.4 litre. I am looking to have the satnav screen replaced for something which will work in the UK. I am in south-east London. Does anyone know any companies which will do this or know any links to other threads about this?

Best wishes

I have 45 alphard fix videos on this channel.  8 of the videos are on installing headunits on the alphard 10 series.

Thanks very much. I have watched two of these on Youtube.

These look quite technical, possibly a challenge for me.

Do you know any companies who could work on this, perhaps using these videos as guidance?

Thanks

Ian

Any car audio dealer with the fitting service will be able to fit the replacement unit for you.

As far as you buy the correct adaptor for your chosen unit it's basically plug in job.

The hybrid shows extra information on the head unit, like battery charge and electric motor status. If you replace the head unit you lose that information. There are services that can add CarPlay / android auto while keeping the original Japanese head unit.

The question is whether you find the hybrid info useful.

Hey ian,

The best person to get new modern head unit functions with is ben hau from Birmingham. He is on Facebook, eBay and YouTube. He basically fits apple car play into the original head unit and retains all the original Japanese menus and functions. The apple car play is connected through the video channel, but that is the only channel that will be interfered with. AND you will be able to get radio. I will send a link to a video of him using it
