Japanese imported Vellfire question re: language conversion

Ive purchased a Toyota Vellfire from a company who imports them in and converts to Campervans.  The only problem is that this company doesn't deal or know how to convert/change the audio/sat nav from Japanese to English.  I can't seem to find a company local who can do it either.. can anyone help or advise?

What are you trying to do ?

 

Change the language setting on your existing head unit from Japanese to English

Or have the whole head unit replaced with a new one. There are lots of threads on here for this.

Try searching for Radio replacement or Head Unit Replacement.

 

I may help us all to help you, if you are able to attach a photo of the head unit to this thread.

Hi, thank you.  The van is currently still at the unit being converted into a Campervan.  The guy he has used has tried to fit an English touchscreen appleplay system but failed to do so. He says its an integrated system and was worried I would lose some other functions.   Ive tried to find someone who can do this for me without success so far.

I want to be able to have the function buttons changed to English, the sat nav converted to English and the radio too..

Ben Hau, in Birmingham, can get your system buzzing whilst retaining all original functions for cameras and steering controls.

You can only change to english from the 2012 version, when they updated the GUI. Before you are locked to Japanese.
