Hi Picasso, I just wanted to comment on your caution with phone numbers, etc. My view is, and I can run this be the owner of the Forum, is that genuine general help for members is OK. What is not OK is directly, by name etc., promoting any business that you have a financial interest in as that could be considered as free advertising. In your case, the business you work for, or any business in which you are owner or part owner. This is to prevent the commercialisation of the Forum without the (Forum's) owners' consent. It is a shame, especially in your case, as you provide so much useful advice and pricing information. You could PM The Alphard Club for more guidance.
Picasso Posted December 22, 2021 Posted December 22, 2021 ROJIE i do understand what your saying i have no dealings with the company only thing i deal with is the handbooks which i import myself from jpnz in new Zealand i was just trying to point out the shocks are available i wont mention the company again sorry
Catweazle Posted December 22, 2021 Posted December 22, 2021 Let's not be too strict on endorsements though unless blatantly advertising....it may put people off recommending good experiences for the sake of being politically correct. I'm also a member of the Nissan elgrand forum and they seem to do a good job of getting the balance correct.

I was not ticking anyone off; if it appeared that way, I am truly very sorry. There are ways that the Forum Administration team can warn members who are mis using the Forum. To be clear, you were not. You were providing good information in good faith. I have a JPNZ, as you know, and I think they are invaluable. I frequently recommend them. And I will promote the Workshop Manual when you can provide it. However I was trying to enable other members to be aware of the policy. 1
