Hi all,

We have just bought a Vellfire, 2009, 2.4Z.

Hoping to get her in a couple of weeks. Really looking forward to it.

We have had quite a few JDM cars over the years.

Our previous car was an Elgrand 3.5, 4wd. We are retired now though and

wanted to get a newer machine a bit more friendlier on the pocket, but still big

enough for the camping trips with the grandkids and the dog.

Vellfire ticked all the boxes and has the benefit of being  beautiful looking also.

Can't wait to pick her up.

Jim

Hi Jim

Lovely looking van and seems in great condition. Will you be having it converted?

Hello Phil,

Many thanks,

Not being converted, we're pushing on a bit now, but we still use the tent.

Just upgraded to a bigger one now that takes the grandkids and dog easily.

Cant wait for the season to start.

Hi Jim

Like you I am recently retired. This is our first Alphard and I must admit wife and I are both smitten with it, drives lovely and  am getting 30 mpg on a run, providing I keep to about 60mph. Planning trips to the continent with our little dog. Here is the very first picture that we have taken of it.

Regards

Phil

Hello Phil,

Looks a lovely car indeed!

Best of luck with your trips on the continent.

I'm actually still out working on a ship just now, but I'll be home on Tuesday and thats me hopefully finished.

Time to hang up the old sea boots.

We just camp in the UK. Booked up down in Cornwall for the 3rd June,

but will be heading down to the Lake Distract and other UK Campsites a good few times before then.

We still enjoy the tent and have just got a new one for this year. Big old thing, but has to take us, the dog and three grandkids comfortably.

Can't wait till the season starts again.
