Looking for a garage that can read the diagnostic data on Alphard 2007. Warning light is on and warranty only has one month left. Anyone know of somewhere in the South West that can help please?

Hello Cathy,

Welcome to the Forum.

If your Alphie is still under warranty, surely you should return it to your seller and have the work done under the warranty.

Having said that, I know many  Toyota dealers are 'huffy' about working on imports.

My local dealer is Snows. They have a larger Toyota dealership in Plymouth.

I'll check see if there is a Toyota dealer in Truro.

There is also a Toyota specialist in Bodmin.

His name escapes me but I can find it if you need it. He should be OK with the engine side of things.

Which warning light is one ? Engine light I assume ?

V6 3.0L or 4 cylinder 2.4L. Hybrid ?

I love the imagination of businesses, particularly in Cornwall. On my travels I was near the Camel Trail in Bodmin and saw a local recovery vehicle sign-written as “Camel Tow”, who promised the best “Tow Job” In Cornwall!

For those who don’t know, the Camel Trail is an 18 mile cycle trail, virtually traffic free and level, that stretches from Bodmin to Padstow, all very picturesque and safe.

I wonder whether the business owner of DyerNostics realises although the name is meaningful and personalised, it is also ambiguous !

Unfortunately we bought it from a garage that only sells and doen not do any mechanics. I spoke to Toyota at Truro anad they said they don't touch imports. 2.4 engine
