How to change the language from Japanese to English

Hi Stuart,

You need to tell us all what head unit you have.

But, I fear, you will not able to change the language.

Hopefully, another member will prove me wrong.

I suggest, apart from the language (which doesn't make life easy) you determine why you want to change the unit.

It can be done, for sure; but the head units are pretty good; especially if you have the HDD unit.

You can use Google to translate both the head unit, and the manual.

Not easy, but worth it, imho.

In my Alphard the unit is a NHZA WG59 navigation HDD. I would love to keep it but I'm struggling to make use of it. Yes it may have been a really good unit in Japan but it ain't much use in the UK. If any one give move some tips to get the most out of this unit I would be most grateful.

Ben Hau, in Birmingham, can update your current unit to run ApplePlay etc; retaining all the current camera and steering functions.

It is a popular mod. But so is installing an 'English' unit.

You can also get, and fit, a radio frequency extender which will give you most of the UK FM stations.

There is loads of info on here.

Try searching Headunit  or Radio Replacement.

Your current unit will record your CDs automatically to the HDD too. A feature I think is great.

Good Luck.
