Anyone know if any way we can fit a roof rack into the Alphard. 

You can buy the full kit from Japan but it's very expensive

There was a thread on here recently where a member had fitted his own (simple) roof bars.

 

His implementation used existing tapped holes in the body.

IMHO his method was very clever.

Thule bars and  feet arn't a problem but getting hold of the fixing kit ie brackets to body are  now discontinued! (For ANH20 cars)

I found a couple of sites advertise them only to be refunded straight away, yet they still  continue to advertise them!

Pre 2008 car roof racks appear on ebay from time to time

I'm having a similar problem  getting a towbar bar having one bespoke made, I'm hoping someone might start importing or cross reference a compatible one.
