Any idea what this button does on my 2010 Alphard?

 

Please ignore the poor job my importer made of fitting the fog light switch.

No. Good guess though. That's elsewhere. I did wonder if it's a front screen demister but haven't had chance to test that yet.

My guess would be front screen demister, which implies you have (at least part of ) a Cold Climate option fitted.

I'll have to wait for the weather to cool down to find out 🙂

I found a video from Canada. It's a windscreen wiper de-icer. I just took a look and there are heating elements along the bottom of the windscreen. Mystery solved.

Agree with the above, just checked the manual for you, it is indeed listed as front wiper de-icer..number 9

Oo Didn't know there was a manual in English. Where did that come from?
