No. Good guess though. That's elsewhere. I did wonder if it's a front screen demister but haven't had chance to test that yet.

My guess would be front screen demister, which implies you have (at least part of ) a Cold Climate option fitted.

I found a video from Canada. It's a windscreen wiper de-icer. I just took a look and there are heating elements along the bottom of the windscreen. Mystery solved.
