Hi,

we purchased a rear conversion Alphard camper earlier this year, it is a 2003 model.

I am looking for a breakdown provider without paying AA / RAC rates and no issues / exclusions for age.

looked around online, but would appreciate some suggestions etc.

thanks

I am with the rac I pay £9.50 a month for that I'm covered for unlimited breakdowns as long its not the same problem as before also home start and recovered anywhere in uk if vehicle can not be fixed I get 7 day free car hire .I have all ready used it once only thing I would say is due to the weight of the alphard you can not be towed so I had to wait for a low loader to be transported home .

As Picasso says, automatics cannot be towed with their driven wheels on the road. Make sure your insurer covers for a flat bed truck.

I have two autos and would not allow either to be towed under any circumstances.

The Breakdown cover I have (with my Bank) covers me, not the vehicle.

By that I mean any vehicle I am travelling in is covered !

I pay more than Picasso, but receive other services too.
