I picked up my 2006 2.4 hybrid Alphard 2 weeks ago. It’s lovely I got it through Algys.

I had a new battery fitted but there is something draining the battery. It will discharge over a couple of nights.

I’m based in Epsom, Surrey and am looking for an auto electrician who can work out where the battery drain is coming from.

Or if there are any top tips for things I may have left on, that would be great.

thanks

James

Check you haven't accidentally left the interior lights on.  It's very easy to hit the switch close to the driver's door mirror without realising

This seems to be a very common problem did you get an answer

I've recently bought a 2009 Vellfire 2.4, and my battery seems to be draining over a couple of nights, too. Has anyone found a solution?

I respectfully suggest you get your battery tested.

Without regular charging over winter the battery takes a beating.

You should be OK if you drive some distance every day.

Although inconvenient, you can disconnect the negative, or fit a 120 Amp (or more) switch on the negative side.

Thanks Rojie,

I was thinking I should get the battery tested.
