Pritch Posted August 4, 2022 Posted August 4, 2022 Whilst I didn't get my conversion done bu these guys (they now do more Alphards than previously), they have fitted a Solar Panel & a Fiamma roll out fixed sun canopy, inc brackets. Have to say the level of professionalism, knowledge & aftercare help I have had from them has been first class. Its so nice to find someone who is genuinely a Family concern who are prepared to walk you through what you need, why you need it, and maybe what might work better and not rip you off. If your looking for a converter/after conversion work, no hesitation in recommending them - 1st class. 1
Picasso Posted June 9, 2023 Posted June 9, 2023 Out of interest how did they fit the c type rail is it screwed to the roof
Peter Bailey Posted June 12, 2023 Posted June 12, 2023 Hi I'd like one fitted in the roof channel due to pop top. Any ideas I've seen plenty for vw .
Arthur Posted June 12, 2023 Posted June 12, 2023 Hi Peter. HL Campers fitted a rail to my pop-top Alphie. It’s not in the gutter but between that and the pop-top struts and is hidden from view when the top is down. Like Phillix, mine is bonded to the roof. IMG_7389.heic IMG_7388.heic IMG_7552.heic
Peter Bailey Posted June 12, 2023 Posted June 12, 2023 Sorry Arthur can't seem to open images but get the idea, is it a c rail with flat plate, and plastic or aluminium please. Thanks in advance Pete.
Arthur Posted June 12, 2023 Posted June 12, 2023 Don’t know what happened with the photos but yes the rail is flat bottomed and is made of aluminium. There are 2 sections with a small cut-out for the base of the pop-top hinge mechanism.

Thanks in advance Pete. I have problems opening this type of file sometimes, on a PC. These opened first try !
