Hi there, I’ve rather inconveniently lost one of the screws to fix my roof bars to my 2007 Alphie. Please can anyone tell me the correct spec for the screw so I can replace it? Thanks in advance!

Hello Angela,

The bolts will be the same diameter on all Alphards, they screw in to the factory made holes.

The roof rack I have is second-hand and has no screws with it.

I guess I'll just got to Halfords and ask them to try a few bolts.

I'll post the size so that other owners don't have to go through this.

The size and thread should be easy to find.

Any decent auto shop should be able to give you one.

The only issue I would consider is the strain that the bolt needs to endure.

Depends on what you intend to fit to your roof rack.

I have found the screws which fit the Alphard 02-08.

https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B00ABOWATO?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_image

The ones that fit mine were M6 12mm which were perfect for the aftermarket rack I had. You may need longer ones if your rack mount (the part which is screwed into the roof) is wider than 4mm.

I hope this is of some help to others.
