Hi everyone,

Does anyone know what the beeps in the attached video mean? It starts fine with no warning lights

Thanks,

Sam

Hi Picasso, I've tried a new battery. Still does it :(

Would a garage or auto electrician be able to trace what it is? I've looked through the manual and any beeps referenced sound like the 2nd louder beeps in the video so I'm thinking it's some aftermarket Japanese bit of kit. Maybe something to do with the toll road cards.

Anyone know where the etc computer located? I'm thinking it may be the etc that is beeping to warn that no toll card is inserted?

could be several things, but I have a 20series so cannot confirm, do you have a dashcam or lanekeep assist? does you headunit have an sd card slot for maps etc?

ETC was one option I was thinking, my one is linked via headunit so it actually talks via the drivers side speaker rather than beeping.

I did get beeping when i left a rucksack on passengers seat, as it has a pressure sensor that actives beeping if seatbelt is not connected.

Something else it could be is dirty sonar sensors.

I purchased a OBD READER and turned the seatbelt passenger side sensors off.

annoyed me it would beep everytimeI left shopping bag on the seat!
