Not much longer to put up with updates….Great drive along the north coast today, compulsory stop at John O Groats for signpost picture then down the east coast to Wick for tonight’s stop. Filled up in Truro, £1.71, could also have filled up in Wick at Tesco. Campsite a little more basic tonight, but absolutely fine for a night.

Fantastic, I did the NC500 a few years ago on motorbike, covered 1300 miles in 6 days and loved it.

The west coast is defined better scenery than the east coast.

Did you manage to stop at cocoa mountain in Durness for the amazing hot chocolate?

Dunrobin Castle is worth a stop as is the Glenmorangie distillery just north of Tain

Smoo Cave....wonderful. Did you write your names in stones on the grassy slopes.

Thank you for sharing the photos of your trip......I've done the route 3 times on my motorbike but looking forward to doing it with our Alphie once we get it.

Also loving your "eyes" on your Alphie 😁
