Hello Martin,

I am assuming you have the Home Theatre System ?

yes i do

Hi Martin

I don't have the Home Theatre System, and am wondering if you do !

Does the passenger seat have lots of electronic gizmos ? It should have.

If so, is the rest of the system working OK? All (12, I think) speakers ?

May I respectfully suggest you try eightseater,blog.com (or something very similar).

He provides wonderful insight into the HDD head unit you have

It may help you; hope so.

OK I will thankyou for your advice

Hi Martin.

This is the same set up as I have though mine's MZ V. 2005

It does appear to be the Theatre system in place( I can just see the speaker on the top of the dash), though I'm not sure which gadgets on passenger side Rojie is referring to?

Maybe he has seen some upgrades on his internet travels!

I confess, i've never tried my headphones and have now changed out the headunit to Kenwood so don't think they will work, but will have a check when i can.

I believe the Theatre System has amplifiers (and goodness knows what else) all installed under the passenger seat.

Some, or all, of that could be missing.

Are the buttons push buttons to on and off ?

My guess is the controls have been disconnected as the Japanese owner has removed some form of upgrades.

Sorry, I have no definitive solution.

Thankyou all for your advice if I managed to get it sorted I will add it to this forum in the hope it will help someone else,

Thanks again martin

Just a thought, have you tried it all with the rear screen down, and powered on with remote?

Have a look on the remote button and see if there is a mute button.
