Hello

I am a  new and proud owner of a TA 2008  G Edition which I have just imported into Jersey. I bought the vehicle in the UK in July this year. I have noticed an intermittent squeak (high pitched, possibly metallic) which I detect to be coming from behind the driver at the rear of the vehicle. It sometimes squeaks over uneven terrain but then surprises me sometimes when it doesn't.  I am not a mechanic so all thoughts of ideas in my head.... Wheel bearings, Axle, suspension.. no idea.... Anyone out there had a similar experience with theirs?

Many thanks

Hello Greg,

I think rear axle bushes are quite  common problem on newly imported Alphies.

Dry bushes will often cause squeaks, try spraying the bushes with some water from a spray bottle and see if the noise disappears.

Hi Rojie,  thank you for enquiring about my wife, she had an op a couple of weeks ago to remove 2 stones on the stump of her Bile duct stub[had her Gall Bladder removed years ago]. She is progressing really well and hopes to re-start her on-line business this week.
