Hey everyone,

I'm a recent owner of an Alphard 2006 MS model. Still trying to get used to the amount of features included in these brutes and have some questions about the entertainment (for myself, Mrs and the kids).

Wondering if anyone can help. If I was to connect one of these (picture) to the 3 RCA or USB behind the center console from my phone, would I be able to play this on the DVD display or head unit? Just wondering if this may save the faff and costs of having to touch any of the wires etc.

Thank you.

Hello matt,

Welcome to the Forum.

Certainly, the video inputs behind the console (should be) are connected to the head unit.

The head unit is expecting NTSC, but mine works fine with PAL. via the DVD (not via the RCA jacks, in my case).

Whether it will accept audio video input from your phone is another question; and one I cannot answer..

I use a PC for music and films.
