Welcome to the Forum.

 

A radio frequency expander will give you most, but not all, UK channels.

The expanders are available with various frequency ranges, so a little care is needed.

 

You need to remove the facia, and it's a rats nest behind there.

I think you need to find a 12v supply too.

 

Some of the members will have done this small (and cheap, 20 pounds or so) upgrade.

 

Hopefully they can provide more detail.

 

There are threads on here regarding removing the facia.

Ccare is needed with the Hold button switch.

If it's just radio, honestly, get a dab receiver or radio receiver that connects to the headunit via a selectable frequency that you can receive. 

 

I guess it depends on your budget and how integrated you want it. 

Personally, I use a radio app on phone and connect via Bluetooth (I have unlimited data on my mobile network)
