Bluetooth phone connection only 1 speaker output

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

I have a 2005 Alphard over here in Canada, with the HDD radio and theater sound system in it

I was able to connect my phone no problem, but when I answer a call, it only uses the drivers tweeter on the door for output, making everyone sound super tinny and I cant understand them, is there a setting to control this or is it just a random gremlin that my unit has?

Thanks

Hello Ken,

I don't have the Theatre System fitted, but do have the same head unit as you.

There are several controls to allow tinkering with the spatial balance etc.

eigthseater.blog.com is very good site, in English, for your HDD system, but maybe less so for the theatre part.

I hope you find it helpful.

Hi

I have the theatre system too & same head unit...phone comes through loud and clear. I definitely found phone  settings using the right hand menu buttons on base the head unit.  Can't remember how but will take a look at the weekend. Sub woofer under the seat won't kick in unless you set include speakers to 'REAR SEATS' using the left touch button on the  on screen balance menu...then it sounds awesome!
