Hi out there in forum land I just fitted a cruise control to my 2007/8 Alphard works a treat but for some reason the idle speed has dropped to just 200rpm the engine shudders and sometimes stalls have i fitted the cruise control incorrectly or does this happen if it does how do I get the idle speed back up again

Hi would disconnect the cruise control and see if it goes back to normal 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Tried that still low idle speed also tried resetting idle speed still no joy 

Maybe a dodgy Idle Speed Control Valve or wiring. Try disconnecting it and see if the problem remains first off.
