BertsOffice
Hi All, I am considering buying an Alphard for conversion into a mobile office. Could anyone kindly let me know if they have done this please? Many thanks, Simon

Based on my experience with my rear conversion it is, imho, entirely possible to create a fantastic office for one, two at a push. I have two bench seats and a small table, which would suffice as an office. For a more capacious office permanent, or semi-permanent, middle or rear seat removal is a real option. Some of the older vehicles have middle seating that can be rotated. Do you need to be able to stand ? You need to consider how to power any office 'equipment' though. You have set my mind buzzing
BertsOffice
Many thanks for your reply, Rojie . With all the rear seats removed I think I should be able to set up a desk, 2 monitors and an office chair. I don't need to stand up but I estimate a minimum internal height of 137cm is required to allow me to sit comfortably (if anyone could tell me what the floor to headlining height is I'd be very grateful). Power consumption of 2 monitors and a laptop I estimate to be about 350w, so I think a leisure battery with an inverter should do the job? Any other guidance would be welcome. Many thanks, Simon

Close at 133cm height at most, but would be more without luxury carpets, insulation, roof moulding, etc.
BertsOffice
Many thanks for measuring the internal height, Rojie. I need to check again that would work for me. Simon
