I am considering buying an Alphard for conversion into a mobile office. 
Could anyone kindly let me know if they have done this please?

Hi do you mean like a camper conversation type with more desk space? 

 

I've been looking to convert mine to have a mini kitchen in the rear in the view of keeping as many seats as possible. I've realised it is better to enlist a good carpenter to get exactly what you want  rather than buy an off the shelf pod system. 

Mmm  I realise now that the floor to headlining height may be a little tight to accommodate an office chair and allow me to sit upright comfortably.

I need to rethink the idea.

Hi Simon, thought I'd just share my layout with pullout desk. It works pretty well and I'm 6ft.

Another view. TV is 12v and I link up laptop with hdmi if I need to. I also found a 12v power supply/charger for the laptop. Hope that helps 😊
