Wondering how do you deal with air con / cooling in hot countries. In the past we camped in Death Valley and Sierra Nevada Spain, where my wife had to sleep in the toilet block of the camp site as it had air con.

I was thinking of installing a remote start to run the air con at night as its on a timer and shuts down.

I will have hook up anyone had any luck with a portable air con (not a fan you add water to)

Hi Chris,

While travelling in Spain we used the Spanish air conditioning system.

Are you hoping to run the air conditioner whilst not in the vehicle, to pre cool the vehicle ?

Or are you hoping to run an ac at night whilst you are in the vehicle ?

Short of an EHU, you need a generator.
