Babu Posted February 25, 2023 Posted February 25, 2023 Hello, Just picked up my 2011 Alphard today 😁 It's in tip-top condition, except for one thing - one of the rear light clusters has significant condensation inside. How do I get access to the taillight? Once I have access, is it a sealed unit or can it be opened up?
ALSALPHARD Posted February 26, 2023 Posted February 26, 2023 Hi, we had an Auris that was/were notorious for filling rear lights and boot with water, garage wanted £100's to reseal so i drilled a couple of 2mm holes at base of plastic lens. worked a treat.
Babu Posted February 26, 2023 Author Posted February 26, 2023 Once I get the unit out, I'm pretty sure it won't be difficult to seal it with a bit of waterproof adhesive/silicon/tape £100's?? Jokers.
Chris.ac Posted March 6, 2023 Posted March 6, 2023 Which unit, the one fitted to the boot door, or the one fitted to the bodywork? Body work, two bolts, and side unit backwards. Boot door, need to remove boot liner. http://zatonevkredit.ru/repair_manuals/viewdoc_html/AWI4O_qhU9h2CeTmduUr/AWI4PpR1rzlLPWuuVUE8
