Water inside tail light - how to remove??

Hello,

 

Just picked up my 2011 Alphard today 😁

It's in tip-top condition, except for one thing - one of the rear light clusters has significant condensation inside.

 

How do I get access to the taillight? 

 

Once I have access, is it a sealed unit or can it be opened up?

Hi, we had an Auris that was/were notorious for filling rear lights and boot with water, garage wanted £100's to reseal so i drilled a couple of 2mm holes at base of plastic lens.

worked a treat.

Once I get the unit out, I'm pretty sure it won't be difficult to seal it with a bit of waterproof adhesive/silicon/tape

Which unit, the one fitted to the boot door, or the one fitted to the bodywork? 

 

Body work, two bolts, and side unit backwards. 

 

Boot door, need to remove boot liner.
