Morning all,

We decided to have our 8 seater Alphard converted to a camper van. After much searching we decided to go with Milldown Campers.

Appointment booked we arrived and was greeted by David. We explained that we was looking for the side conversion but both my wife and I had different opinions of what Colour combination and spec we were after!

David took the time to explain clearly what was included in the package and what was an optional extra. David then let us view his stock of Alphard & Elgrand Campers so we could see all the various Colour combinations. The first thing that struck us was what a beautiful & modern conversion package Milldown Campers provided, The fit and finish was exceptional. Being able to see the Colour options in the flesh helped us decide on our combination. David had no problem letting my wife and I take our time and decide what we wanted, We really appreciated this as we didnt was to make a hasty decision.

Another nice option is to have the dash board sprayed to modernise the interior, This can be done in either Black or Silver. We chose the silver which really did smarten up the cabin.

Upon agreeing our spec, The keys were handed over and our Alphard was left with David. We was advised that the conversion would start straight away and take approximately 2 working weeks to complete. I assume this would differ depending on the workload that Milldown have on. David very kindly provided us with regular photo updates on the progress which was fantastic.
It is worth mentioning that there was a couple of small jobs I wanted doing while the Alphard was stripped back for the refit. I spoke to David about this additional work outside of the conversion and he very kindly addressed this for me also.

As agreed two weeks passed and I received an email to say our conversion had been complete, the Alphard cleaned and was ready for collection. We agreed a date and went to collect, Upon arrival David again took the time to walk us through the conversion and explained to us how everything worked.

To say we were happy is an understatement. We are all over the moon with it, our two daughers cant get enought of curling up in the back with there games & Ipads while we head of on an adventure!

Another point I would like to make out is the quality of the after sales assistance. We are not experienced campers, quite the opposite. I have contacted David a few times for advice, Wether that be regarding our Alphard or where to source camping equiptment for it, David has always had the time to help.

We often get asked by people if they can have a look around our Alphard and they alway walk away very impressed with what they see.

In conclusion, David & the Milldown Camper team lived up to our expectations and more. Nothing was a problem and they were very generous with there time with us, They are a credit to the industry.

We would definitely use and recommed Milldown campers again in the future.

Looks awesome Kate 😀

David and the Milldown team really are first class in all areas.

We've now had our 'Nellie' from Milldown for over 18 months and we've not had one bit of bother and the build quality is superb.
