Hi

just purchased a 2010 Vellfire.

replacement android head unit was already installed.

in the storage compartment above the fuel and bonnet release is a device I’ve not seen before. Seems to be some sort of player or mini disk device?

Can anyone shed light on what this is?

Japanese toll card reader?

On my 2010 alphard, this is the Etc (electronic toll collector) used in Japan to pay road/bridge charges

Or looks different to mine (mine is factory fitted, yours looks like a owner fitted one - I am guessing you dont have the premium 18 speaker headunit system in the 350G alphards)

You can disconnect it. Mine was tagged into the wiring behind the head unit
