Hi,

my toyota alphard sliding door will not shut fully.  The  handle when pulled won’t open electrically but shuts electrically.  Once it shuts it then goes and opens the tiniest bit, just ajar and I have to physically push it shut but the light still won’t go off from the dashboard showing the door is open and not closed fully.   This has now drained my battery.  Even if I press the door button next to the steering area to open it electrically it won’t shut properly either.  How can I resolve this problem?   My other side door has decided not toooen at all after working fine but that could be 5e battery is totally gone.    Help?  I’m new to this forum.

I had similar problems both doors needed replacement cable closer ( expensive) and one door needed electronic lock component ( mildly expensive)   Parts ordered from Japan.
