newbie here - I'm so pleased to have found the site/forum !

 

Can anyone help me with how to access the bulbs that are in the actual tailgate ? (not the corner assembly.)

There doesn't seem to be an obvious way to get into the xover from the inside or even the outside!

You have to take inside panel off to get to the bulbs, two screws are hid behind plastic covers. I think from memory the rest just pulls off 

+ You should use a trim remover lever (plastic lever is best) usually in a set of Trim/clip removers ....ebay or Amazon
