I found plenty on how to enable EV only mode of Prius' of the same era, tried the same pins on my E-Four but no joy

 

If any knowledgeable person can give me a clue how to do this mod on an ATH10 2005 Alphard Hybrid please let me know

 

The HV battery seems to be only 6.5Ah which is tiny.  I have been thinking about a li-ion upgrade which is straightforward but to get the potential benefits I need to find EV only mod methinks

You would think it must be possible to do using better batteries and a motor out of a hybrid alphard???
