Dashboard button

This rocker button on the right side of the steering wheel on the dashboard comes on when the headlights are turned on. Turning this off or on doesn't seem to do anything related to the lights. Any ideas?

I tried that but I have a separate buttons for front and rear fogs

If it only comes on when the headlights are switched on then it must have something to do with the lighting system, that's why I suggested the fog light.

so its just going to be either a case of illimitation or ignore. Sorry only thing I could suggest

Identical to the one I have. Imported Jap Alphards don't have a rear fog light and importers must add a rear fog light prior to registering the vehicle in the UK. Try switching headlights on and then switch on this toggle switch and look at your tail lights (the offside light should be much brighter). I think the switch you say you already have is the one operated via the lever on the steering column, which has the option of daytime lights (not really fog lights).

I have a 2008 Vellfire. Mine has one that is a rear fog light!
