Kiwi Alphard

Hi people!

I'm a Brit who moved to NZ around 6 yrs ago & have recently purchased a 2006 Alphard (2.5L 4WD Hybrid).

I am super happy with it although there have been a couple of frustrations which I will share via specific questions. 

Back in Blighty, I enjoyed owning a Citroen Dispatch but it's not sold in NZ so when looking for a similar vehicle I only found tradie vans. Then I spotted an Alphard converted into a campervan & my mind was set - well either a Toyota Alphard or a Nissan Elgrand.

I specifically wanted one that had swivel middle seats as I plan is to keep them for occasional passengers and hopefully use them as part of my bed when I convert the rear section into a tiny camper for 1. Unfortunately NZ isn't blessed with eBay or the variety of accessories that you can buy in the UK so it'll be a challenge.

I'm looking forward to reading the advice, personal insight and camper conversions tips from other members
