kendo Posted March 16, 2021 Share Posted March 16, 2021 I appear to have an oil leak from the top of the engine (v6) i think it is from the front cam cover. AlphardZA Posted September 6, 2021 Share Posted September 6, 2021 hi i had the same problem on my V6, i had oil leaking from front and rear covers. the oil leaked onto the exhaust manifolds. bought the gaskets at my Local toyota dealer. word of Caution, the Lexus RX300 intake gasket does not fit, when i replaced my gaskets, i replaced the spark plug gaskets and Spark plugs all in one go as it is quite a mission to get to the rear cover. just check if the bolts on the tappet cover is tight, when i started i saw that mine was all loose, hence the Leak. Ldrego Posted September 12, 2021 Share Posted September 12, 2021 Oil leak could be signs of a blocked pcv valve. I have a video of this on my channel. Usually accompanied by crap mpg.
