Hi there, can't see this point covered anywhere so...

 

I wondered how often the strainer/filter is recommended to be changed?

 

Also a lot of parts sites note the part is for 4 speed, is there any difference with the 5 speed please? The part number I have is 35330-08010.

 

Just got a 2007 3.0 @ 50,000 miles... everything is in good condition except the transmission oil is a bit on the browny-red side - not too bad but I'd like to drain and refill... Wondering if I should do this myself vs get the garage to do the filter too.

If your not sure if filter not all ready done best to get it done 3.0 takes about 9 liters fluid 

You got the correct filter part no.

Just out of interest, what is the interval on those strainers?

I was told life time of the vehicle I had mine done by dealer 10000 miles ago I'm going to have it done again at 20000 miles 

I'm struggling to find the correct transmission drain plug washer - it's single use so I'd like to buy a pack ideally... can anyone share a link or part number please?
