Hi All,

Had an Android radio fitted when I bought my 2011 Vellfire, just wanted to know if anyone has fitted/purchased a Hd tv.

Existing tv mirrors the head unit.

Also have the original head unit as not sure if anyone requires it .

Great site and packed full of exciting issues and solutions.

Thanks,

Alan.

Hi Alan

I still have the original Toyota head unit on my Alphard.

They're a great unit 👍🏼

The only issue was the radio and satnav. The fm expander isn't great.

I now stream all the radio stations via Bluetooth from my phone and I connect Google maps through a mirroring box.

The mirror box/unit does stream anything on your phone for example YouTube, BBC etc 👍🏼

Would be interesting to know if you could connect a separate Hd tv aerial.

Thanks AFTAB,

Will see my local car electric specialists and see what they suggest.

Will wire the radio to mains and check it out.
