JoKing
Planning to take our 2003 Alphard to France in a couple of weeks. I've just found that that we may need a Crit'Air vignette sticker for certain cities, but to apply I need to state the Euro emissions standard (EURO1 - EURO6) which isn't on the registration document. How do I find that out? Also, do I need to use headlight deflectors? Thanks

Thanks This is a reply Monster S gave to another member is it a hybrid? the only true way is to take it into a mot centre and get them to run an emissions test for you. As far as I am aware, you will need headlight deflectors AND I would turn off the AFS , if you have it.
JoKing
No, it's not hybrid, just the standard 2.4L petrol engine.
R4v3n
Here you can make the registration to get it : https://www.certificat-air.gouv.fr/certificat/demande/ext/vehicules And here are the informations of how it works for a foreigner : https://www.service-public.fr/particuliers/vosdroits/R59473?lang=en
JoKing
Yes, I know how to get it - but the form asks for the "Euro Standard" of the vehicle which I don't know.

So simply consider the year of production, your Alphard is from 2003, so it fits "Euro 3 - entre le 1er janvier 2001 et le 1er janvier 2006 inclus". And it's a petrol engine, so you enter in the Crit'air 3 case : "Essence : tous les véhicules Euro 2 et 3 ou immatriculés entre le 1er janvier 1997 et le 31 décembre 2005 inclus"

Trevhow
Did you manage to order the Crit online? I’m struggling to find the CO2 figures.

I just followed the advice above - using the year of manufacture (2003 in our case -> Euro 3)
pcous
Hi, My recollection is that I did not give CO2 figures in the application for the Crit'Air vignette sticker - I was asked to supply a copy of the V5C document and the French authorities issued a certificate. We have an LPG conversion to a 2007 Alphard, listed on the V5C as bi-fuel, and les bon personnes at www.certificat-air.gouv.fr duly issued a Crit'Air class 1.
