When I bought my 2004 3 litre Alphard I had the original radio replaced with a Kenwood DMX7017 DABS.  Unfortunately, none of the steering controls now work the radio.  It's a long shot but does anyone know the adapter that would work please?  Does the one in the pic look right?  Many thanks in advance.  Patrick

Hi

yes that adapter looks right to me.

I too have fitted a Kenwood dmx5020 to my 3.0 Alphard 2004 and fitted that adapter to maintain steering wheel buttons,

works fine. just one wire from the stereo and connect the 20 pin connecter power it up,done.

Great!  Many thanks for your reply Moomins2

Just installed this adapter to my Kenwood DMX7017 DABS last month, very straightforward process.

Two wires to cut in the adapter (as described in the adapter manual) and replaced all previous connectors as they are also part of this adapter.
