Hi,

We are thinking about buying an Alphard 2006 hybrid side conversion campervan and I just wanted to see whether anyone has any suggestions for toddler sleeping ideas? It doesn’t have a safety net for the pop top (and apparently the layout would make putting him up there a bit awkward) so I don’t think that’s an option. There also doesn’t seem to be a front seat option either, that I’ve found. He sleeps in a cot at home so ideally would like a similar set up for the van. I saw this pop up cot bed and wondered whether we could make some kind of base for the cab for it to sit on. Has anyone else done something similar?

TIA :)

Hello Nicola,

Welcome to the Forum.

Can I suggest you buy a dog hammock and rig it across the front seats ?

Small mattress under or cot over it !

You'll need a (external) windscreen cover to provide shade for him.
