LondonAlphardEnthusiast
Selling our beloved Alphard Hybrid due to...buying another Alphard Hybrid (but this time a camper, and ULEZ-compliant as we live in London). £5,990 ono Located in Hackney, London. Fantastic vehicle that we are the first owners of since its import into the UK in 2019. When we bought it, it had done 139,500km (86,681 miles), at which point it was converted to miles, as is standard with imports. The clock now reads 168,812, meaning the actual mileage the vehicle has done is 115,993 miles. The good - Smooth runner, everything works well, we've had no issues with it. Would make a fantastic touring vehicle for a small band, or a very reliable, affordable base vehicle for conversion to a camper (we have actually used it as a makeshift camper in its current state, too); - Hybrid system means that it's very economical to run for a car of its size and age; - MOT to 16/09/23; - Extremely comfortable 7-seater, and all furnishings are in good condition; - Back seats fold up giving you an enormous amount of space and flexibility; - Comes with after market manual that we bought (as original manual is only available in Japanese - this is an English translation); - CD player and, believe or not, MINIDISC player for all you retroheads! - Electric side doors, windows, air con etc. The bad - Not ULEZ compliant for London - very annoying, since we now have an identical vehicle 1 year newer with the same spec which is (and both are, of course, hybrids...), but it's something to do with Japanese paperwork. We have lived with this for the past year or two when we weren't using the vehicle much, just coughing up the £12.50 a day, but we are selling because we are now using a vehicle much more regularly; - Screen for the entertainment system isn't working, though the entertainment system itself is working great. We have just lived with it as is, hooking up our phones via a Bluetooth adaptor (included in sale), and since the information on the screen was in Japanese anyway, we don't miss it much! Though reversing cameras etc are of course not viewable. This can possibly be fixed, or an after market entertainment system fitted should you wish; The ugly - Dent in rear bumper and a couple of scuff marks (all pictured); - Small chip in windscreen. The price hopefully reflects these cosmetic issues.
