Rain water stopper for van roof to awning connection.

We have a fixed  wind out awning (Thule) which stands proud of the van roof, and when the drive away awning is connected to it there is a space between the Thule casing and the van roof which allows the rain to run off the van roof and into the small passage space between the van and the main awning area.

 

Has anyone seen a solution for this, like a sheet which will fix to the van roof and stretch across to the awning?
