Hy all, has anyone any idea how to get the compass on the home page working? Everything else seems ok but this doesn't move which is a pain as it's there all the time.

if im guessing rightly this is a aftermarket android system you will need to change location settings within the radio you also may need 4g access

Thanks for your reply. I attach my mobile hotspot to this after market headset and location is set to my home town. Satnav and other things that should require location work fine so 8m at a loss here

if it anything like other tablets/phones (which this is basically) the compass needs calibrating by moving and rotating the head unit in a figure of 8 - practically impossible of course.

I noticed that Google maps wasn't working correctly and found that a cable at the back was in the wrong hole. I put this in the right plug and both maps and the compass works nicely now. Thanks for everyone's help.

I'm sorry, I haven't a clue. However, the guy that installed and configured mine is called Bilal Channa. He is on some of the Facebook Alphard sites so see if you can find him and he should be able to help. He's located around Slough.
