Done trip around europe thru poland and germany and only on the way back in Belgium and in port of Dunkirk found few fellow alphards 

I'm wanting to head through Germany to north-West Poland, which ferry crossing do you recommend. Obviously you'll say from Hull 😅 - which is OK for me as I'm in Manchester. I've looked at ferries to Hamburg as it'll save a lot of driving, but it can be expensive.

All depending on budget . If you on saving yet don't mind driving then I'd do as I have done already which is go to dover and pick the trip to Dunkirk then ideally overnight thru Germany to land early in the morning somewhere near polish border.
