2006 Alphard Hybrid - 12v battery specs

Hi there,

I'm looking for the precise specs for the 12v battery needed for a 2006 Alphard Hybrid (cold climate - canada). VIN: ATH10-0020415

I've seen some other threads about this, but none of them have the precise specs. I would love if someone with a manual could chime in!

Thanks in advance.

You're welcome.

You may find your actual battery choice is somewhat limited because you probably have Japanese terminal sizes and, on my vehicle at least, there's a bracket that fits over the battery which accepts a limited width of battery.

Maybe you already have a great auto supplier but if you use the Tayna website you can filter by Japanese terminals and battery dimensions. At least then you can get a suitable brand and model that you can find in Canada. When you land, click this button to reveal all the filters:

I'm happy to report that toyota part number 2880028100 is a perfect match, here in north america. It has the JIS terminals!

I also learned that Toyota dealerships (in Canada at least) set their own prices. When hunting for this battery the price varied from $391 all the way up to $560!

Thanks again for the help
