Has anybody fitted electric tailgate using oem parts? I will be doung this as soon as my Vellfire arrives. Just wondered if anyone has done it?

you will need to purchase a special relay and there are instruction on youtube by "TCs anything". it takes a lot longer than it seems as you would need to connect a wire from your tailgate to the open/close button above your head. but obviously, it do able. Also, when its done, you will need to unlock the locks at your tailgate by pressing the big rectangular button first, then press the little circular button for the tailgate to lift up.
