Gabs
Any news on that @Dan01? Seems like we might have similar problems.. @Warrickis that related to the radiator? I've replaced mine not long ago..

Ardi Artha
I have the same problem with my Alphard hybrid E Four 2007.. some indicators on the dasboard flash red on..VSC on, Engine in the middle on and the worst was the car engine lost its power so the engine had to be shutted down..I had to wait about 15 minutes to half an hour and tried to start engine again.. sometimes if got lucky it can be run over but sometimes need to be waited even longer.. the part of cooling system had already changed once but the problem happened again.. how to manage these problems??? Thanks before.. Really appreciate it..
smurf
Sounds like the inverter is overheating, but without some diagnostic information being taken from the car it is impossible to say for sure. If the inverter is overheating the possible culprit is the inverter coolant pump.
PaulE
You can usually check if the inverter pump is working visually. Put the bonnet up-wait until the engine is cool, start it and carefully remove the hybrid coolant filler cap which is to the right of the radiator as you look at it (opposite side to the expansion tank). You should see movement in the coolant, sometimes it bubbles up and down a little. If no movement then it might be the pump assuming the system is full. Don't run this for more than it takes to view and refix the cap. A diagnosis with something like Toyota Techstream would confirm. I had to change mine last year and had a code DTC P3130 Inverter cooling system.
