October 2007 - Black Toyota Alphard G spec for sale

Recommended Posts

We're selling our Alphard which we have owned since it was imported into the country in July 2018. It has been regularly serviced and as with the majority of these cars has proven to be very reliable. We started with the Estima which we initially used for lugging my wife's gardening equipment around before upgrading to our first Alphard in 2013 when she became a registered childminder and required an 8 seater. This was replaced with the current car as a result of a not at fault accident in 2018. We now are awaiting our 3rd Alphard (a 2018 model) which arrives in a couple of weeks. The car does have a few blemishes, a horrible scratch on the nearside lower near side skirt (school car park damage) and the rear mirror which no longer has the glass, though the car does have a reversing camera which is much more effective when reversing into tight spaces.

The car is in very good condition inside and out and is a real head turner.

The car has 84k miles and we invite offers in region of £7500 as we are seeking a quick sale.

Nigh on identical to my own, except mines a V, has the dark alcantara interior and has been camper converted.

Looks a nice genuine vehicle, GLWTS am sure it will sell pretty quickly at that money.  Note it might be worth your time and effort to pop the roof spoiler off and remove the rear mirror arm as the mirror is missing.  With the right sockets and a deep socket extension not a difficult job and will look better without it 👍

Thank you for commenting on our ad. I very much appreciate the advice and will attempt the job tomorrow as it appears relatively straightforward. We will also attempt doing some work on the headlights to make them less cloudy....weather permitting.

Kind Regards

Calvin

No worries, interestingly I think the headlamps have a bronze tint on them, so they will still retain a bronze look.  You can definitely clear them up a bit though.  Some decent cutting compound and elbow grease should do it 💪

Most welcome Calvin, lights look great!  Did you manage to do the rear mirror in the end?

Had another thought....the scratch.....if you can get hold of some metallic black paint (same or similar) I've found really good success in placing a small amount on the tip of my finger and just running it along the scratches.  Won't be perfect but it will make it a good 70/80 percent better and help take the eye away from it.  A bit messy (for the hands) but might be worth a go?
