Is fuel consumption a real issue, which is best engine, this is my main issue about buying.

I have a 3 litre V6....it ain't gonna be frugal!

Currently getting about 300 miles to a tank from brim to Light on...60 litres with 10 reserve unused. About 23 to the gallon.

X submariner here you will have to suck it up and enjoy the ride.

I have had mine 6 days and it's done 21.3 mpg road trip.
