Megan Lebasci Posted February 4 Posted February 4 I am having an issue with my 2011 2.4 petrol toyota vellfire stalling when coming to a stop and it has a tourque convertor clutch pressure control solenoid control circuit performance/stuck off error code. This has been happening for a couple of months and I have been advised by a transmission specialist that the whole CVT box needs changed as opposed to just the tourque convertor, does this sound right?
Picasso Posted February 4 Posted February 4 Hello Megan sorry your having issues in the gear box you have several solenoids do you know if the transmission oil has been changed as this it self can sort problems out with a oil change and filter its always best to go cheaper option first if unsure when it was changed before you start spending big money what's your reg no. I will give you part no.s and drawing I help lots of members on here this way.
Megan Lebasci Posted February 6 Author Posted February 6 Hi Picasso Thank you for your response. I have had it just under 2 years and have not had the transmission oil changed myself so will definitely discuss this with my garage. The reg is VX61WKT. I had it imported and it has no service history so definitely worth considering, especially as you say the other options are pretty expensive.
